There are Only Two Diseases

The body digests, transforms food, nutrients into blood, structure and function. There are only two kinds of food, nutrients: building (hot, yang) and cleansing (cold, yin). The correct amount of building and cleansing produces the correct amount of blood, structure and function where the body mind can thrive. Any amounts, grater or less, in the extreme, tend to cause disease via too much or too little blood, structure and function.

Protein and fat (red meat, chicken, turkey, fish, eggs, cheese, and to a lesser extent beans, nuts, seeds, etc.) build, fuel, thicken, heat, hold, etc.

Too much protein and fat, especially red meat, pork, turkey, chicken, etc. tends to overbuild, thicken and heat the blood (high cholesterol, tumors, cancer), liver (congestion, cirrhosis), arteries (atherosclerosis, arteriosclerosis, high blood pressure), skin (warts, psoriasis), head (restlessness, insomnia), kidneys (stones), stomach (ulcer), body odor (putrid, offensive), large intestines (dry stools, constipation), etc.
